Create an online space for the department to showcase their student’s work, the department’s facilities, and their student club while extending services to the broader community.

My team and I acted as a studio, DMMC Studio and developed our own branding for the duration of this project.
We used these guidelines to craft a creative brief for the MCC Design Department, who aimed attract students but also enhance their community's connection and participation.
The resulting website would be a simple one with only five pages including the home page serving as a hub for the most important content and snippets of other pages. This information architecture stage included blocking out what content would be present on each page, header, and footer as well as categories to go with WordPress’s categorization system.
DMMC Studio conducted a short survey among current Design Department students to better understand their needs. Using these results, we formed four user personas.

The survey conducted revealed about half of students had a lack of information about the Design Department’s Maker Club and would to learn more about it and other news. It also revealed that most of the students surveyed did not know of the existence of the Design Department Catalogue. We utilized this information to inform our decisions when creating wireframes
